BlackImpala Travel and Tours is a proudly Zimbabwean-owned travel agency based in Marondera, founded by 2 friends who met in the bush — Shepherd, a former rhino handler and game ranger, and Paymore, a Zimbabwean trained rhino handler who followed his passion for food to become a chef. Together, we combine deep bush expertise with culinary passion to create safaris, tours, and travel experiences that are authentic, safe, and truly unforgettable.
We grew up protecting wildlife before we started planning trips. Today, we guide your journey, protect your experience, and feed your soul. The name “BlackImpala” comes from the rare, fast, graceful, and agile antelope — and that is exactly how we operate. We move quick, guide true, and never miss the details.

Born From the Bush
BlackImpala was founded in 2025 by 2 friends who met in the bush. Shepherd spent years as a rhino handler and game ranger, learning to read the land, respect wildlife, and keep people safe in the wild. Paymore grew up in Zimbabwe, trained as a rhino handler, then followed his passion for food to become a chef — bringing the bush to the plate with every meal he prepares.
We left conservation to share it. Today, BlackImpala Travel and Tours gives you Africa through the eyes of the men who protected it. Fast bookings, real stories, food that tastes like home.
